- newsgirl24 and Debengr: Not true. In this day and age, that kid (hopefully he's a kid) will be required to pay support until the child is at least 18 years of age. If he doesn't, he will (likely) be prosecuted and thrown in jail.

- My real problem is that the prescriptions are FREE. My prescriptions for my family's medications aren't FREE. I pay a co-pay which reduces the amount I pay, but they are never FREE. BTW: The opposition to contraceptives and abortion (and the death penalty and euthanasia) this isn't new.
